Sandusky guilty on 45 of 48 counts

A Centre County jury has found former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky guilty of 45 counts of child sexual abuse.

Sandusky, a former Penn State assistant football coach, had been charged with 52 counts of sexually abusing 10 boys, some of them on the Penn State campus and all of whom he met through his Second Mile children's charity.

Four of those charges were dismissed during the trial.

Bail was revoked.

Eight alleged victims testified at Sandusky's trial, which began June 11 in Centre County. The prosecution and Sandusky's defense team wrapped up closing arguments on Thursday afternoon and gave the case to jurors around 1:20 p.m.

Sandusky had claimed his innocence since being indicted in November.
